I feel as though they fucked up how the system worked. with ssb, as they even say in the show, being the super Saiyan version of SSG, it made it feel like SSG lost all the mysticism behind it.
if anything. ssb should have been a weaker version of SSG, like a pseudo/ false SSG where they can tap into ssg-like powers but to a lesser extent and without the need for rituals. ergo why the hair turns blue but goes spikey like regular super saiyan.
then made SSG the the top true power where you need the 5 Saiyan ritual to transform into it.
or made it so that SSB taps into a ssg-esque power via rage as opposed to the zen calmness of the true SSG form via ritual.
they basically ended up making SSG obsolete and pointless even though there was all fancy shit involved with it.
or they should have had Goku the SSG then have Vegeta unlock ssb out of frustration which gave him similar powers but to a slightly lesser extent where his shit evolve by rage. and Goku's SSG evolves by what they showed as ultra instinct type power.
basically some shit Goku gets easily but Vegeta again has to play catch-up whilst having to put extreme efforts into doing so
