I’m not sure what else they could have done without being faithful to the movie suit. It’s not like his suit was Adam West’s or Ben Afflecks or a cosplayer in pajamas. He wore armor with plating on his gauntlets and boots, that’s exactly what they did here. What would you have preferred? A plain black fabric costume? That’s not how it was in the film.
