>>7176721Mmhmm. That build was me just using some spare bits I had around from Classic sets I've acquired over the years. More of a 'proof of concept' than anything. I'd like to get more eyes, especially the 2x2 ones and less of the blinking ones, to make a larger, more winding walkway on a larger baseplate. My local library has the LEGO Awesome Ideas book and I was inspired a bit by the Fantasy Land section. But really I'd probably change the colour scheme to one that uses black, white, orange, and purple, and then I'd throw in my skelly, have my Jack o'lantern head in there, and add more teeth. My friend brought over his birthday gift to me last night and it was the Ninjago Master Falls, because he got it on sale. It came with a couple of finger leaves and vines, as well as some bamboo leaves and mountain pieces. I'd maybe have those growing out of the building along with the green pieces I have in the above pic. Leave more room for snakes, scorpions, and flame pieces. Find a way to I corporate a tentacle beast like the first Sanctum Sanctorum set (76060), too. I'm slow when it comes to getting around to ideas, so we'll see when this actually pans out. In the meantime I have several more gifts to unwrap, and I'm waiting on my library's copy of The LEGO Ideas Book. They also have the LEGO Play Book, 365 Things to Do With LEGO, and THE LEGO Neighborhood Book on their shelves.
