What's the deal with the cannon mode? More specifically, why does it have tank treads? The toy seems to be designed to aim up at an angle, like a surface-to-air or mortar type weapon. Do the tanks help move it into position? Is the rear end meant to just drag on the ground, then?
But I've seen pics of the G1 version kind of balancing on the treads so that the cannon points straight forward (pic related, bottom) but the ratchet positions for the supports don't want to be like that, and even when I could get the supports to stay like that, it's too rear-heavy to balance like that (held it up with one hand for the photo).
