Due to the way a Land Raider kit is assembled, you need to do extensive kit bashing to simply invert the tracks. You have to slice, carve and shave-off pieces. I suggest getting a pre-owned Land Raider, dumping it in paint stripper (especially if the previous owner didn't thin their paints), and have fun kitbashing.
