>>7103670That's a pretty piss weak excuse given the fact that they're large enough to afford the Hellboy license and the cost of manufacturing is pretty much set after a certain point of producing figures when dealing with numbers like Hellboy.
I don't know how big you think Mezco is, but they're much smaller than NECA and probably smaller than McFarlane Toys too.
A cursory search shows that 1000toys has a head office in NYC? They must be pretty big if they need an international office, which i don't think even NECA does.
We're not talking about businesses run from a garage like 4H or Onell Design, though i wouldn't doubt if McFarlane Toys is run out of Todd's massive pool house
The size of a company is meaningless. Toy Biz is a company that was a hundred times smaller than Hasbro and they they gave their toys a larger budget than Hasbro's AND their figures cost less too, ev
en when they were making F-list superhero characters.
McFarlane is a thousand times smaller than Hasbro and same shit.
Again, after a certain point, the costs are going to be very similar and the price for their toys is mainly up to how big of a profit margin these companies want. How many features a toy has is going to reduce that profit margin. Plain and simple.
Guess how much of a profit margin 1000toy expects when they're giving you a paltry sum of accessories with your $90 toy?
