>>11238808MNOG 2 was actually my first exposure to bionicle as a kid. I thought Hahli and the rest of the Ga-korons were all males so when we were pretending to be bionicles in the playground at recess I wanted to be a water-chad, got laughed at, and decided to be an onu-chad instead (it was the only other region I managed to get to in the game)
>>11239599>MNOG II is really special to me, it's basically the only official Bionicle... uh, anything, where nothing extreme is happening and nobody's in danger, and you just get to see and explore what the average peaceful day is like. The music in the intro was really ominous so I kept expecting to be ambushed by enemies at some point. The long areas of wilderness with nobody there really scared me as a kid and I vaguely recall some matoran warning you about rahi. Whenever I got the black screen I assumed I got killed by a rahi and died.
In hindsight
>>11240633The game would have been amazing if they did something aside from the shitty koli minigame. Gathering all the matorans in MNOG1 and holding all the rahi off in the final battle was hype as fuck and they honestly should have done something similar. I remember the first thing you can do in MNOG2 was throw a disk at that water bridge thing, and there was dice roll RNG involved like DND, so maybe RNG combat using discs was originally supposed to be a thing?
