>>8039949>>8045016The fact they only ever did Domon and Master Asia should tell you why they're not touching pilots, it's because they think pilots by themselves don't do any dynamic action moves so they don't need anything more than statues. G Gundam's pilots were an exception to this which is why they chose them of all people instead of the obvious popular characters like Amuro and Char. Char was considered, they went as far as to showcase a painted prototype but nothing came out of it. In the end it's pretty clear that Bandai's thought process is that you don't need articulation on characters who are just normal people outside of their mechs, maybe they thought Char could have still be a good seller based on looks and his iconic status but even that wasn't enough to actually release him. IIRC he already had a 1/6 doll so he's no stranger to articulation but people don't buy dolls to pose them for dynamic action scenes.
