Obviously you have the odd shill here and there and western toys tend to be lower quality despite their big fanbases but the fans rarely vocally proclaim that Hasbro and Mattel stuff is on par with the figures that cost three times as much. Most of the popular brands live up to their hype, and the ones people aren't super outspoken about are middle of the road and most buyers know it.
I guess if we consider the entire landscape of toys and not just dedicated collectors like the ones on this board, Funko Pops are the obvious answer because they're cheap and ugly but so widespread that even the most anti-toy normie may show interest because some obscure character got a Funko reskin.
