>>8396703That's the problem for most Shonen manga, and mostly ones on Jump. They double down on a particular formula they found to work since the times of Fist of the North Star or Dragon Ball, but drag them on longer and wider (more characters) for decades.
Yu Yu Hakusho is one of those titles that's more popular overseas than in Japan, it's remembered but overshadowed by many other mangas since then. Nothing new has come out of it. So it's not worth investing in.
Kenshin has a better chance, the live action movies were very popular and has an active manga.
>>8396994I think Kaiyodo lost that window they prefer for Kimetsu no Yaiba. They usually like to go in before something blows up and other toy companies are doing everything to capitalize. Yamaguchi was a latecomer to the trend too so while he's talking about it on his personal twitter I feel like that means nothing is happening. Maybe years down the line but could be risky to do AY then, less popular, most bought the other figures.
I'm surprise AY didn't do Kenshiro yet, knowing Kaiyodo's history with the IP and him still being a popular character. SAS looks a bit off to me.
