>>5755150I've read all but the newest books, while I've enjoyed the additional lore I just feel the fight was finished at Halo 3. For me the splitscreen is a serious issue because me and my bro have played every Halo since the first that way, it reeks of a pathetic cash grab by forcing people to buy more xboxes and games to get that experience which is on top of the continuation of the franchise being a cash grab in the first place.
I probably will eventually play the campaigns just to see where the story went but that's about it, the multiplayer is dead to me if there's no local splitscreen. About the only thing 343 have done ok is the Anniversary Halo 2 in the MC Collection, but overall it's so buggy and caused me weeks of frustration with glitched achievements in the ODST campaign and they didn't include fucking Firefight...
