In a way I guess you can say BWS inspired some 90's artists with his linework, but they didn't get what made his hatching work so well. If anything, Smith's linework had a very delicate, soft quality that made everything feel delicate; even though Logan is this short, burly, hairy man he looks so vulnerable in Weapon X.
