don't know if you own the set but each character also more equipment which might not be immediately apparent if you just look up pictures of the characters as they are spread across the set that you're supposed to acquire/upgrade through the journey. like for example the mage has a longstaff and different spell tiles for the book, there's a beholder shield and other weapons for the fighter, etc
