I got made fun of by people when I showed them pic related that I got for Christmas. It wasn't a work thing but a discord server. I told them I collect comics and not toys in which they said both were dumb. I don't think they saw the irony of saying these were bad while they had no issue with cosplay. One had just said they wanted to have a set of scout trooper armor and that they also wanted to get into 40k and buy the figures. The irony of it all was lost on them. I don't talk to them anymore for unrelated reasons so no big deal.
