Really random, but there was that new graphic novel, and now I'm thinking about it. Dreadstar Ultimates??? Dreadstar seems way too niche for anyone else to touch, and the aesthetics look like they would fit in quite well with Ultimates.
A wave of 4 could be Dreadstar, Syzygy, Oedi, and Willow. If they want an oversized character, The Lord High Papal would fit right in.
They would also already have Captain Deadstar to fight, who would probably add Dreadstar to his shit list because of how similar their names are.
