Had a bunch of reward points expiring soon at Kmart, so I headed in planning to pick up a flip-clip set (had just enough in points/coupons to get it for free) as I could use a few more 12 dart mags.
Walked out with a Rapidstrike instead! Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them on the shelf. Like most Kmarts, the toy section is pretty anemic, but their Nerf section was amazingly well-stocked. They wanted $46 for it, but with points/coupons managed to get it for 23 bucks!
I'd checked out a couple reviews on the Rapidstrike beforehand, and the overall impression I got was that without modding, its performance is a bit weak. Still, that great looking pulse rifle-esque shell had me very interested, and I just couldn't resist after finally seeing it in person.
Only problem is that I apparently have just two C batteries in my house, haha.
