Apologies for the dust, I moved recently and haven't had time to clean or maintain my old collection.
This was one of my first kits and I accidentally lined the bottom portion which then pooled into the joint and cracked the entire thing. Panel liner like yours will try and go into any crevice it can (like it's designed to) and overexposure to plastics will cause the kit to become brittle and/or break.
I'm eventually planning on having a buddy 3D print me a replacement and paint the entire kit but I need to finish my backlog first.
