Just wanted to share with you all the unlitigated Hell that has been unleashed upon me these past couple weeks.
so my mom bought me a surprise lego set for me passing my GED, a graduation present if you will
it shipped for the first time about 2-3 weeks ago and my mom gave the address of our PO Box but the guy shipped it through UPS so it got all the way here and then they sent it back literally the day of delivery
so then I had to get with the guy who sold it and turns out he’s like a 16 year old kid who can’t drive and it took him 2 days of meandering to get it shipped back out, the first day he couldn’t go bc he had church, the second day his “mom forgot”, etc etc
the day he got it shipped out he “went up the road” to his neighbors house and asked them to do it - mind you this is a nearly $300 package.
at the 11th hour the neighbor finally shipped it and it literally got on the truck for delivery it was fucking here and then there was a “delivery exception” because he didn’t put my name on it. he didn’t put my name or phone number on the package. he put half of my address on it. It had my house number, my state, and my zip code. I had to get on the phone with UPS to change the delivery address, and they told me “rest assured your package will be delivered to you tomorrow.”
yeah so 30 minutes later the tracking updated to say the package is being returned to the sender. I called UPS and they said “there’s nothing that can be done, you will have to contact your shipper”
