Model kits production can get very expensive for all the metal molds that needs to be cut, not to mention the extra time designing the runners and how to assemble. Kaiyodo have started making plastic models but they are very basic, old school kits. And meanwhile half a dozen companies have already been producing next level robot kits that have high attention to articulation. So I don't think Yamaguchi has that much of an advantage there and that's why Kaiyodo won't even bother. But figure price inflation is insane and eventually it'll get to a point where Yamaguchi will have nothing to do at Kaiyodo, maybe then we will see him do kits.
