I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I'm not painting, so I'm trying to get as clean and stress free nibs from the gates as possible. I start with a cheap pair of nippers away from the gate, then use a nicer pair pretty close to the model, sand down the nib with a medium tamiya file, water, sand with 1000 grit, water, and then sand with 1500, and water.
And it still looks like shit.
I'm just tired, I know I'm new and I'm probably missing something, but the stress of fucking up the next model is making me just not want to build all my assembled shit, now.
I feel like if I spring for God Hands, they'll just dull really fast and not be worth the money with how much I think I'll use them.
