There's a few other devices that are exclusive from Bandai Asia (D-Gather, D-Spirit 1 and 2) with larger rosters that have that same feature, but those are programmed vastly stronger and 9 times out of 10 clobber the newer devices.

Be careful though, it's incredibly easy to accidentally over level your Digimon and wind up with something completely different, as I recently found out when trying to raise a Sakuyamon X. Accidentally hit the level cap during the boss fight and wound up with Sleipmon X instead.

I do seem to enjoy raising pets in warmer weather, likely out of nostalgia. Though there's something to be said for the coziness of being bundled up and having a battle or two before bed.
I wish I could try doing it outside. I'm too paranoid of accidentally dropping or losing it, or attracting attention with the beeping.
