>>9511449It is not really about the limbs but more about body proportions and ratios. There are 2 "ideal" ratio that 2.0 body does not do for male character
1. Shoulder to hip ratio. Men supposed to have wider chest and wider shoulder to hip ratio. This is one of the first thing they teach in art class.
2. Waist to shoulder and hip ratio. Again the 2.0 bodies have very small waist and very wide hips.
I don't disagree with you that they are terrible for women as well. The 2.0 bodies overall are not that great. The feet are too small, the heads are too big except for helmets, and the armors are too tight. They should maybe do a proper do-over and have something like 2.5 body because most 2.0 body character looks kinda ass regardless male or female. All the highlight characters from this line, Atlus, Ignatius, Gideon, Vitus, etc. that people pay top bucks on the aftermarket are 1.0 bodies. Not that many highlight characters with 2.0 bodies.
