As for acid Rain, nothing would change if they used harder plastics. They'd just be harder. That's it.
And they've been around for like 5 years already. Revoltechs and Figmas had already leaked their plasticizers in only 2 years at that point. So Ori Toy's plastics seem to be good quality.
As for McFarlane's Halo toys, yeah, articulation is impeded, but they're still plenty poseable and fun to play with.
And i should also note that most of their joints aren't intergrated with the sculpt. They're have REvoltech type joints at key places, yet are still impeded because MCFarlane cares about sculpt more.
