Mirage isn't exactly the stereotypical Transformer shape. I can only imagine the firestorm that would occur if Hasbro tried releasing a Generations toy like this nowadays.
That said, I don't mind it. I like all the Classics toys.
The way the chest folds down in two pieces is pretty neat and his tiny head is unmistakably Mirage. Wish the wheels behind the head did *something*.
The only new bit of colour in bot mode is the orange on his forearms.
The paint on the chest is an interesting way of making a fake windshield. Not quite as egregious as Classic Prime's fake grill but pretty much every Prime after him did the same thing so who cares.
For Mirages it's this strip of paint or a whole molded fake front end of a car.
