I'll bitch about the price but I'll be buying it regardless like the idiot I am. But like you mentioned, there is at least the Ami discount.
It just feels like the releases are getting a bit more sparse on the accessories while the prices are starting to push nearly up to nearly 2k more, but no doubt this release is going to be really fun.
Although for the people who buy every single release, this will be their 9th RX-78-2 figure at this point.
Interestingly, it seems to be the Unit 2 version, in which case I'd be all for a Unit 3 version as well, or even the Unit 2 in Ingrid colours.
