When I think of abstract vehicle modes I think of fucking G1 Kup. It's vaguely some kind of pickup truck, with a cockpit in a shape and place that doesn't make sense, an awkward truck bed and concealed wheels. Nothing about this design makes sense to me and it's like what you'd receive if you described a pickup to an alien while asking them to draw it for you.
There's nothing wrong with an abstract design if it looks good, mind you. G1 Kup is just a fucking slipper.
