Something inherent in the artist's interpretation of the material is lost. Not that there aren't live action toys with soul out there, but one based on a modern superhero movie doesn't.
One of the most soulful figures I've had is the Max Gokin Big O. Everything about it oozes love and care for the property. You open the box and you get a slipcase with the activation line inside the box("Cast in the name of God.."), the instructions include white gloves and a signature from the creator. the figure itself is a beautiful interpretation of the design, giving it a subtle metal surface that Bandai would later imitate. The sculpt itself is very accurate without feeling flat and lifeless like what ends up with many anime figures. And frankly, its BIG. It feels big and heavy. Its exactly what a big O toy should be.
