It seems like he was the most poorly-integrated character of 1986. The Rock People were all over the tie-in media. Snout Spout was in a few She-Ra episodes, a couple of mini-comics and got his origin told in some more obscure sources like a UK comic. Rattlor and Tung Lashor got their service in the Horde integrated into King Hiss' return. Multi-Bot was tied to Modulok. Dragstor and Extendar got an origin and several mini-comic appearances.
In contrast, it seems like Rio Blast just... started existing in rural Eternia one day.
