>>11028531>I think if they just accepted what it is (Saved by the Bell with kaijus and Giant robots) it would be fine.That worked for a very brief time in the 90's but would have bombed just a few years later. The series did just fine breaking from that formula with later series until at least In Space (I gave up on the series after that since I kind of aged out of it). Really the main reason MMPR is the only one people talk about any more thirty years down the line is that people this invested in shows from their childhoods tend to be GEEWUN types.
