>>6003899I like this one the best shape-wise.
I had done it with a different colourscheme and changed up some details, but i understand you wanted to keep it in the colourscheme of the guy.
>>6003906That flamethrower looks really neat.
>>6004046Huh, how? Wasn't it at least 200 yurodollars?
>>6004400Yeah i ordered two starwars sets when they had that 3x points thing. One was out of stock so they had to send it seperately. Somehow i got not one but two polybags of spiderman and a robot out of nowhere that didn't even show up on my order or cart.
>>6005538Not really sure. Lego torsos always come with the arms already attached since they can be a little hard for children to swap out. Not only that, but it can damage or crack the torso piece and make the joint loose. But i dunno, maybe they could have the cape pre-assembled.
It wouldn't be the first time Lego makes a part that existed before as a fan project, the vespa body comes to mind.
>>6005551TL;DR ver
"I don't like thing"
Lego still does things like realistic deep divers, pirates, cops, firefighters, space etc. If anything, everyday architecture and vehicle design became way more realistic than back in the day. Just compare large house/playsets of the 80s with modulars. or speed champions with 80s 4-wide cars. Even the 80s had some wacky ass space sets and shit. Does 6951 look grounded in any sort of sense to you?
Lego has never been a medium through which children can solely explore ideas that connect to the real world. Sure you can do it if you want and there will always be sets to cater to those people. But pretty much every child i knew built whatever the fuck they wanted, wich most of the times involved a lot of bazookas and space lazers integrated pirateships in space, so lego also caters to those people.
