This is so close to being the perfect Optimus for me. He's just boxy enough but with a lot of nice mechanical detail. He's a good size with very little kibble, barely a backpack, and a solid, detailed alt mode. Just couple more things could have made him perfect and the fact that they would have been completely feasible kills me.
His ankles are kind of dumb, if they had just been a double-hinge and swivel instead of just a hinge and swivel, he could have had great upwards ankle tilt. Also, where that back of his leg and the top of heel meet there's this T-tab that only serves to pop his leg panels apart. I removed that and his legs stay together much more solidly and only untab if I move something weird. I also had to shave down some the clearances in the foot rotations. It was easy, but obnoxious to have to do.
Also, his sculpt hinders his would-be excellent shoulder butterfly joints. They're stopped in the front by some sculpting in his chest and from behind by pegs on one of his panels. A minor remold would have given him a lot more shoulder movement. I think I can make some clearance in the front, but the tab blocking it from behind is the one that the front of the cab pegs to, so it's very important.
And if his hips could go forward past 90 degrees (like Siege Starscream's do) that would have really been the finishing touch.
