>>6892382You're probably doing something wrong, spraying too far away or not doing enough coats. I've only ever used Mr Super Clear but its served me really well, and I have doubts about a lot of gunpla guides online that tell you to spray form a mile away and show off clearly bad coats.
While I'd advise against it, I've laid Mr Super Clear on pretty thick on occasion and once its dried its as flat as you can get
Pic related is NOT a good example of how it should come out, you can clearly tell the plastic is still shining through the speckle on top of it, which does diffuse light but not how you want it to, matte should be an actual layer of paint throughout
