When we could do more than just tear things down to laugh at it, to when we could find small victories and joys and we weren't afraid of soap opera tier schmaltz. My favorite issues of the X-men were always when they were just trying to be regular people who set a decent example and do the right thing while finding a place to belong and not the modern perpetually militant borderline super villain bullshit. A quiet panel where they would hang out a favorite pub, walk through central park on an autumn even and even spend a whole issue on a real wedding just reveling in everyone's happiness.
