>>8926600>Shit animation that's jarring and uncanny>Humor that's forced or insulting>Characters are one note like BF5 and have very weak synergy even when they begin to work together>Larry is shit at this gig>The fact Larry has to trash an entire city to get 4 boys to work together and be superheroes when they didn't even ask for it or want it>Bad attempt of making HW's TMNT which on paper would be really nice>Does a poor job of setting up the world and not having much of one at all in the first place>All characters are unlikable and barely have redeeming qualitiesHow can it not be my cup of tea when I came to see a show about toy cars doing zany shit with a colorful cast, then watch this and get barely any of that? Yeah BF5 is shit at being an HW series but at the very least it's usually competent. (Until any shit jokes pop on in which case it stoops to the depths of Team Hot Wheels)
Believe me, I literally tried to come in open minded and view this as a clean slate. Thanks to this we probably aren't getting any fun shows for a good while and Mattel pulls another shitty idea; or hell a good idea and not put any god damn faith into their product to make it good in the first fucking place. If anything Team Hot Wheels is the most simple example of how shit Mattel can be, bank off a good idea or IP but not even bother to invest anything into it or get people who give an honest damn. Hell that screencap alone is proof of one of my examples, here have another one.
