>>9023996I agree with some of your criticisms, I wasn't crazy about their choice for Valkyrie (or her character arc in the movie) either. I would however argue that the movie did a good job at taking the two characters no director or casual audience member wanted (Thor and Hulk) and putting them back in the spotlight, a bright and colourful Kirby-gasm spotlight that enjoys being a comic book movie instead of DARK AND GRITTY like most others. People are excited about Thor 4. That's a huge change from no one caring about the character after five movies. Also, the fact that they killed off the warriors three also annoyed me because the fourth movie should have been Thor and the three going on a macguffin quest for new asgard and reuniting with Sif, but alas. The bumbler thing I disagree with but that's a bit of a long argument and I'm not sure you're genuinely interested in hearing it.
