it gets axed early and fans never get a full set of characters and the line never gets finished.
Enough is enough. Let them work with their own shit. Keep it inhouse, it lets them go crazy without some loser artist or salaryman get butthurt that their using his creation or design 'wrong' or in a way they wouldn't approve.
Japan is so slow moving and bureaucratic in business the last thing it needs is more and more steps thrown in.
