And Michael wrote a bunch of checks with his mouth over the line, insisting it'd be cheaper and better than other toylines he bitched about and not have QC problems that he was very hard on other companies for having, only for it cost more, and have fragile joints issues, while also being super late. Michael and Bobby also took shots at other toy companies with Bobby calling Super7, Subpar7, and also attacking Bossfight Studios, saying how they were going out of business and he was going to have them scrubbing his toilet for him. He even had Bobby talk shit about how Super7 was overcharging for their Thundertank, and attack Scott Nietlich for beating Michael in a debate on the toy industry.
So, when the toys came out and everyone bitched about them, people held Michael accountable on various G.I. Joe websites, where he was already known for complaining about how he hated the Classified line for doing updated designs on characters. Michael even personally showed up on the website Hisstank to argue with Joe fans over Bobby's toys.
