>>7913101>>7913165I assume they copied Transformers, especially some of those Transmetal Beast Wars which would fold their limbs in certain ways to look like vehicles. But it's always came off as extremely awkward looking, I think. They even tried to copy that with the Vahki and the Dark Hunters, and that just seemed desperate.
