More dye adventures.
Decided to retry with the arms chest pieces.
In a small cezve (How is this the only word I could find to describe the metal pot, I used) I made 1/4th of the same dye mixture.
Put yesterdays arms and chest in and added 3 fresh white ones.
Results in pic, left is yesterday's right is today's. "New" arms dyed, chests remained consistent in turning very light lilac.
Maybe some lego materials nerd knows if lego changed material for arm pieces at some point in time. I can't explain the difference. But it would be very useful to know if the year of production is a factor.
The metru armor pieces are visibly a different material, it makes sense that they dye differently. But the arm pieces?
