>>7403295My Voltrex is a solid little boy, and articulation is pretty alright for him, but there are some things that simply cannot happne because of the way his joints work, something common to animal styled figures of any kind, though the quadraped kits look like they've got better articulation for what they should be able to do. As far as mix and matching parts, that was basically the whole deal for the system, all the kits seem to use the same size ports for the various parts, Legs will always have the same leg size, weapons will have the same weapon sized port, ect. I'd say the ktis weakest point is color application. Aside from the few parts that actually come with paint apps on them (something apparently being done away with on future governors) There's not much else going on. No stickers as well so if you want any additional detail, like metal parts, or the display on rider's seat you'll be doing that yourself.
Take Bulkarm here. See those metal and gold/copper colored pistons, the red portions, the display infront of the governor, the white portions ont he arms, and the handles by the cockbpit? Those are all painted by the builder. So you'll need to add a bit of paint to get all the trim going on the kit.
But if you're okay with that I'd say that the line is a very solid one. Nice build, at least for my Voltrex, and I'd like to hear of any other line with motor bikes that turn into raptors or wolves, with with walking crabs and squids alongside traditional mech and pod vehicles.
