I have zero figures in my collection with a real person’s likeness. When you stop to examine it, it becomes beyond creepy.
First of all, imagine that person came to your home. Do you honestly believe they would be flattered? No, probably closer to horrified.
Secondly, action figures are technically heretical sacreligious idols. When you play with your toys you are inserting your energy and life force unto that inanimate object. Basically creating a tulpa or a fragmentation of your psyche. As if that isn’t bad enough now with 1/6 real likeness you’re mentally self-inserting into another man or woman who is a real person who plays pretend for a living. It’s a humiliating way to waste your time lost in fantasy.
That’s why I collect transformers. If I’m going to be a degenerate manchild at least I’ll pretend to be something I could never be like a gigantic transforming robot.
