Because if the only place that Super Saiya-Jin is written out abbreviates it as SS, then it isn't like British and American differences is it? It's more like Americans coming in and changing official Japanese terms. Which is even odder since the translators do that and even then they still don't add the J. So what exactly are we staying true to exactly? 90s online fans?
