Finally found some time in between work and a cold Nurgle has got to be very, very proud about to get to work on ClearProp's Mig-23.
First impressions are plenty of details, pretty good casting, a touch of mould lines and sometimes a bit indistinct locating pegs. Missiles here are done, seven parts each for the R-23 and then the R-60 showed up with each fin being a separate part... Oh well, the four of them load out looks the coolest so nothing to do but get gluing. The seta meanwhile has all the plastic but the headrest but none of the PE yet, I thought I'd get it done before taking the photo but when I noticed the seat belt bits being laced into each other I decided I was too tired for that today. "Only" fourteen parts (PE included) for the seat, compared to 25 or whatever it was for each in Modelsvit's Su-22, but whereas the box for that one said 221 pieces total this one says 173 bits of plastic and 193 PE parts, and that's without the missiles (bought separately, they have three Mig-23 boxing for different versions, two including missiles, and then obviously the one I wanted to build.) We'll see how many end up unused due to variations in minor details between the three paint schemes.
