>>11173947I hadn't seen ol' Dirk since we went on Crusade the year before, oh those were good times... turned out to be a fitting frame of reference when we finally learned what the King wanted us for. We could see the rest were waiting on us so we left it at that and hurried to meet them.
Judging from the others present I sensed the King needed some rough work done. Sir Carl Warwick, Duke of the Westlands and easily the most brutish of men; Sir Bollocksbroke of the Hardbitten Plains, could almost be a gentleman if it weren't for his B*snian great-grandmother; Sir Gregory Caracal, Baron of Beginning-, Middle- and Endsex; and last but not least, Sir Ogie Ogilthorpe, Warlord of Syracuse and the Frozen Wastes. All of us have fought and bled for him, to great riches and rewards. He knows we'll gladly march into hell and bring back the devil himself in chains at his pleasure! Truth be told we were not far off being given such a request...
