Got caught up at work and ended up having to pull a surprise double-shift. Anyway, here's Deep One Elite. it's a repaint of the original Deep One (which I don't own) in more of a Coast Guard-esque color scheme. I normally don't care for vehicles (I'm more of an animal person), but I've given vehicle Transformers a chance in the past and this was something different, so I gave it a try.
Deep One is comprised of two separate units, Monkfish (left) and Lobster (right). Both subs have opening canopies with chairs and sculpted details (but no drivers), as well as manipulator arms on the front (Monkfish actually has two pairs, though the second set has very little mobility) and what look like storage bins on their backs for collecting samples from the sea floor. Both units are covered in a bunch of little peg holes, and there's a pouch of little pegs included with the pair intended to slot into them. This is because, in addition to combining with each other, the parts of Deep One Elite are intended to be compatible with other 'Almightearms'- type Mega Boxes like Icarus and Landbreaker. They can also be used to create alternate fan-mode combinations of Monkfish and Lobster (two examples of such combinations are displayed in the instructions).
In terms of poseability in these forms, there's a bit to be desired; I mean, they ARE vehicles rather than animals, but I feel Monkfish's secondary manipulator arms could have had better mobility, and Lobster's arms can't open their claws at all! I also find Monkfish's storage bin to be a little finnicky, popping apart if you move the thrusters even ever so slightly. Still, this isn't the form you're most likely to display them in, so I'll give it a pass for now.
