Decals were pretty well behaved overall, apart from the misprint of the black and the big stars being slightly out of register in the red-white. The blue "not USSR honest" outline was a separate piece. For the armaments I originally thought I'd do quad missile pods. Now the ones the the kit aren't terribly good looking and only number two (box art be damned), so I went and bought four resin ones. The carpet monster promptly ate one of those (despite there being no carpet of note nearby)... Luckily the gun pods in the kit are quite nicely done. Main landing gear juts out far more sideways than down and doesn't have much in the way of contact surfaces, so that was a pain in the arse to deal with and broke off on a regular basis. Trying to see if I got it on straight, well, the entire fuselage of the Hind is twisted, so good luck with that. On the plus side, that could also hide whatever mistakes I've done there.
