As far as I have seen there is really no bionicle lore and this is a fan wank, it is on the same level as the farting bug CGI cartoon lore, meaning you describing literally every bullshit that happens in the story and saying it is so big and you can not get into is retarded.
Like the entire lore is that some warriors of prophecy show up to protect these stereotypical villages of fire water, ice etc Where the villagers are small and need protection and they are trying to collect crap to defeat the dark shadow god of destruction named M-something. Then they fight him he activates lots of other shit that is meaningless like his bug hive mind and when he gets captured his lutenists show up to free him and it is a meaningless parade of them fighting the next power ranger style villain team and getting new power ranger transformations. None of it connects to anything and things are forgotten and never explored. Or retconed later.
I was expecting some world class world building however the most creative thing is that they have these tribal names and use them so instead paladin of fire it is Toa Tahu. Toa meaning something like Paladin and Tahu meaning fire.
Same for the rest of the primitive savage language names
