>>10529916This entire argument falls apart when you realize Tien's not actually human, though. He's a descendant of the three-eyed people, an alien race. Besides, Krillin being afraid to go up against monsters that can kill him and doing it anyway only adds to my point of him being an everyman. Despite that fear, he overcomes it and tries to help his saiyan friends and Piccolo who are all way out of his weight class. I agree that Toriyama did wrong by Tien with Launch, though. She was always a fun character and it would've been nice to see more of her in Z/Super. Hey, at least, Tien's doing leaps and bounds better than Yamcha.
