I can't think of a single reason somebody would want to buy an empty box unless it was to scam someone. Maybe in some extremely specific and rare case, someone might want a box to make their loose garage sale figure seem more 'authentic' in their own collection.
If you never plan on selling the toys you own or storing them in the original boxes, you're just a hoarder. Try to commit to throwing them away and breaking that mentality. Everything is ephemeral and impermanent, you can't cling to everything. Toss the garbage away.
Our toys will discolor, warp and degrade over time. One day we're all going to die and our expensive toys will end up in a landfill. But at least you can die without being surrounded by literal garbage and empty boxes.
