>>7791237Not sure if you're just trying to start shit, but I still really regret not getting some form of that mold, even if it is dated as fuck.
You see, even though the new one is arguably, technically a better figure in every way, the old one still has its own charm and personality to its credit, as well as the cool gimmicks like the transforming windvane/shield/gun and the smokestack blaster. It's clunky, kibbly and outdated, but it's still a fucking neat toy with its own style and attitude, immediately recognizable as something more than just "G1 Prime", and I really regret not picking up a version of it, especially the Magna Convoy repaint because it's sexy as fuck. Too bad it costs a fortune now.
The new one is cleaner, has better articulation and probably a better transformation, too, but it has no inherent charm because it's just trying to be as accurate as possible to the point where it's really "MP lite". The only future the Earthrise Prime has is to be replaced by a more accurate Prime, just like Siege Prime was. That's the pitfall of only focusing on Geewunn accuracy vs. reimagining a character like the Generations line used to. The new Wheeljack, in particular, is suffering from this. I really wish Hasbro would approach the old CHUG MO with modern engineering. We could be getting some fucking stellar and memorable figures out of it.
